Representatives of the Serbian and World Business Angels Association ABAS (Association of Business Angels of Serbia) and WBAF (World Business Angels Investment Forum) will present their experiences in creating an effective ecosystem for startup development. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the principles of ABAS and WBAF, ways to apply and approach BA, how to interest potential investors for their ideas, how to find new markets, and the importance of international cooperation in financing and developing startups.

This SEE ICT and UNICEF project that involves conducting free robotics programming trainings for kids is being implemented in 12 cities in Serbia, and will be held in Nis in partnership with the Startup Center.
The idea of the project is that children, aged 11 to 14 years, acquire basic programming knowledge through training and develop an interest in this topic.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet and play with robots that can run, jump, draw, swim, play and perform various other stunts. Day by day, during 3 training sessions of 3 hours each, they will learn how to control the robots themselves, using a simple program code. By going through these trainings, we want to introduce children to new technologies that will help them develop new interests and skills that are useful in everyday life.
The Hackathon is a twenty-four-hour team competition to create an application on a given topic, which will be held at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Nis and the Startup Center Nis from November 8 to 10, 2019, organized by SICEF.
The topic is unknown to participants before the start of the competition and will be announced at the opening ceremony of Hackathon.
